LISTEN NOW

Rhaya Lynn is a women’s mentor, business coach, yoga + meditation teacher, originally from Vancouver Island in Canada but living in Bali with her husband and epic community of friends and entrepreneurs. With a Masters in Occupational Therapy and extensive experience working in the field of global mental health, Rhaya combines traditional evidence based therapeutic methods with alternative self development principles and practices for a balanced and expansive transformation.

I wanted to speak to Rhaya about her transition from therapy into the world of coaching - the differences between these two sectors, how to know where to start as well as how to turbo-charge our own growth and self-development. You’ll hear about a few areas - being community, mentorship and embodiment, all areas Rhaya cites as pivotal to her own evolution as well as the growth of her own clients.

In this episode:
- coaching verses therapy: the difference in approaches, how to know what you need
COMMUNITY:
- finding community, creating community, "expanders" aka people who inspire and expand us
- boundaries and communication in our relationships as we grow and making space to grieve past versions of ourselves as we evolve
- the magic of online communities and programs: training us to celebrate over compare, showing us what is available for us, illuminating our triggers and learning within an expansive energy field
- stepping into authentic leadership and creating intentional spaces around what we want to see in the world
MENTORSHIP
- investing in ways that feel edgy to provoke our growth
- investment as an energetic experience
EMBODIMENT: moving past the conscious mind to connect back to the body - intuition, gut instincts, nervous system and more subtle information

So much permission to go for the wild and crazy life rather than the ‘oh that sounds scary, are you sure?’ Being met with open arms by a community that puts your growth and expansion at the forefront even sometimes when you don’t want to. Online spaces just as much as in life can be just as foundational to your growth - a lot of people don’t have the luxury of having an amazing community in their hometown - you know that everyone in that container is there for the same reason of investing in themselves and really all in.
